Job summary

Traditions-Management in Columbus, IN, is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents in our care facility. You will operate the vehicle, assist with entering/exiting passengers, and help secure walkers and wheelchairs, ensuring comfort and security on every trip.

The role requires a valid driver's license and 6–12 months of vehicle operation experience; training includes trip documentation, basic vehicle checks, and collaboration with staff to support residents

Qualifications

• Six to 12 months of work experience operating, loading, and unloading a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift, maneuver, and support materials up to 80 pounds.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the assigned motor vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Secure residents' mobility devices and seating.
• Maintain records of each trip including mileage and time.
• Perform basic preventive checks and report maintenance needs.
