Job summary

Circle of Life Hospice is seeking a Bereavement Counselor to support the Bereavement Services program. The role requires LMSW or LCSW licensure in Arkansas, with at least one year of related clinical experience in hospice or mental health.

You will provide individual and group counseling, maintain electronic case files, and collaborate with clinicians and community resources. You will participate in staff meetings, deliver crisis and bereavement interventions, and support families through loss

Qualifications

• Must hold LMSW or LCSW licensure through Arkansas without restrictions.
• Minimum one year of related clinical experience in hospice, medical, or mental health settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of grief modalities and therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one or group counseling to bereaved individuals across ages.
• Maintain electronic clinical files and submit weekly logs.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to learning environments.
• Deliver on-site and follow-up interventions for patients and families, including children.
• Provide bereavement support and community presentations when needed.
• Document contacts and referrals to community resources.
