Burrell Behavioral Health in Salem, Missouri, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician I to provide direct and supportive care, monitor clients, and assist with treatment plans. You will help create a safe, therapeutic environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to respond to crises as part of a mission-driven organization focused on recovery and wellness for our clients.

Formación

• High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment.
• Experience in Human Services or a related field preferred.
• For Residential Care Facility (RCF): LIMA credential and Insulin Certification within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to critical symptoms, escalating as needed.
• Facilitate group rehabilitative support, education, recovery skills, or recreation groups.
• Document and report exceptional behavior and areas of concern.
• Assist clients with personal care and daily activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of medications and monitor self-administration.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to identify client strengths and needs.
