Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Background check, drug screen and TB test required.
• Understanding of mental health and substance use disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete Behavioral Health Technician duties and documentation per Lincoln Recovery policies, state regulations, and HIPAA.
• Monitor and document client vital signs as required by state protocols.
• Assist with admission and intake for new clients, including paperwork and searches.
• Support detox protocols, including vital signs and routine monitoring for withdrawal.
• Provide safe transportation of clients to appointments and other destinations.
• Assist in crisis intervention, including de-escalation and notifying clinical staff.
• Support daily living activities and maintain cleanliness of shared spaces.
• Participate in on-site activities, peer groups, outings, and community meetings.
• Observe signs of substance use or mental health distress and report observations promptly.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education to enhance knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
