Job summary

The Wood Group is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to support residents with behavioral health challenges. You will help maintain safety, provide structured care, and follow established procedures to ensure dignified treatment and continuity of care.

The role includes daytime and overnight 12-hour shifts and requires empathy, patience, and crisis intervention awareness. Responsibilities include meal service, charting, medication supervision, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
• Cook and serve meals following the facility menu.
• Complete items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect.
• Supervise resident medication procedures and document narcotics counts on each shift.
• Maintain daily chart documentation.
• Familiarity with The Wood Group’s policies and procedures.
