Qualifications

• Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including male and female children, adolescents and adults.
• Must demonstrate the ability to learn concepts and develop skills through orientation and training.
• Good communication skills; must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Bachelor Degree Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing safe, effective patient care under the direction of the Program Director/Manager and Unit Charge Nurse.
• Mentor new hires and students in unit routines.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned.
• Act as a role model to patients/residents.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
• Hours will vary and require flexibility with availability.
