Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a nursing support role to assist with routine patient care tasks, record vitals, and support daily living activities for patients in a hospital setting.

The position requires strong communication, adherence to infection control practices, and ability to work closely with registered nurses to ensure patient safety and comfort. Previous hospital support experience is a plus, and a current BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
• Current BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Takes and records vital signs (TPR) and reports deviations to nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living and basic patient care.
• Records intake and output and assists with meals.
• Performs simple procedures and supports patient safety and infection control.
• Communicates with nursing staff regarding patient needs and requests.
• Assists with patient transport and unit cleanliness.
