Job summary

Starlite Recovery Center is seeking Behavioral Health Associates to join our team. The role supports patient care within a treatment facility focused on substance use disorder recovery.

Shifts include weekends, evenings, days, and PRN opportunities, with a strong emphasis on safety and professional conduct. Responsibilities include ensuring patient well-being, conducting safety checks, documenting information, and facilitating patient activities and education under clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate urgency to ensure patient safety and provide excellent customer services.
• Ensure patient well-being and provide a positive, supportive environment.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure supervision at 15 minute intervals as required.
• Document timely, accurate clinical information in the patient's medical record.
• Assist in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for patients, significant others and staff.
• Interact with patients, observe behaviors and communicate observations to nursing staff.
• May assist patients with activities of daily living and coordinate transportation as needed.
• Engage patients in activities designed to meet treatment goals.
• Complete and maintain required documentation; assist with follow-up and paperwork on incidents.
