Job summary

Starlite Recovery Center in Texas is seeking Behavioral Health Associates to join our team. This role supports patients with substance use disorder, delivering care under clinical or nursing leadership, while prioritizing patient safety and professional conduct.

Shifts include weekends, evenings, days, with PRN positions available. Candidates should have a high school diploma and CPR/De-escalation training; prior experience with the target population is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months or more with the facility's population preferred.
• Licenses: CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available).
• First aid may be required based on state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services under clinical or nursing leadership.
• Maintain safety checks with 15-minute supervision intervals as required.
• Document timely, accurate clinical information in patient records.
• Create a safe, supportive, structured environment for patients and staff.
• Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and report to nursing staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic care tasks.
• Facilitate educational-rehabilitative groups covering social skills and coping strategies.
• Engage patients to achieve treatment goals and document incidents as required.
