Pro Nursing Solutions Inc in South Florida is seeking a dedicated Behavior Assistant to support individuals with intellectual disabilities in daily activities and routines within a compassionate, team‑based setting.

You will provide one‑on‑one care, implement behavior support plans, and help individuals reach their goals while documenting progress and maintaining confidentiality. A valid driver’s license and flexibility for night shifts are required; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts as needed.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing quality care.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily activities and routines.
• Implement behavior support plans as directed by a Behavior Analyst or supervisor.
• Provide one‑on‑one support to individuals as they work towards achieving their goals.
• Document and maintain accurate records of individuals' progress and behavioral data.
• Provide transportation to individuals to and from appointments or community outings (valid driver's license required).
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for individuals at all times.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and other team members.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
• Accurately track and report hours worked.
• Adhere to all company policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality guidelines.
