Job summary

World Relief in Chicago is seeking a compassionate case manager to support immigrant families with benefits access, school enrollment, medical care, and referrals to community resources. This limited-term role runs through 6/30/2027 and may extend with funding.

You will conduct assessments, help families navigate Medicaid, All Kids, WIC, arrange transportation, and provide orientation to the local health system. Strong organizational skills and sensitivity to trauma-informed care are essential.

Qualifications

• Mature and personal Christian faith.
• Commitment to World Relief's mission and values.
• Desire to serve vulnerable communities.
• Ability to affirm World Relief's faith statements and health of the nation document.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a minivan/15-passenger van.
• Bilingual Spanish or Arabic preferred due to client needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of immigrant families to identify needs and connect to services.
• Assist asylum seeking families in accessing Medicaid, All Kids, VTTC and WIC.
• Orient participants to the healthcare system, arrange appointments and transportation.
• Educate families about life in Chicago and local resources.
• Schedule and accompany clients to appointments with social services and medical providers.
• Maintain accurate client files, notes, and reporting records.
• Participate in department meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
