Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assisted living or elder care preferred but not required.
• Paid orientation and training process.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet state requirements.
• Strong communication and compassionate, patient demeanor.
• Dependability and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Monitor health status and report changes to site lead/manager.
• Provide companionship and encourage social engagement.
• Maintain accurate care records per facility policies.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of living spaces and common areas.
• Respond promptly to emergencies following procedures.
• Support shift availability and access to other opportunities.
