Washington Odd Fellows Home is seeking a dedicated Home Care Aide to provide supportive services to residents under supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, transfers, meals, and medication administration, while documenting in the EMR daily.

The role requires 12‑hour shifts and flexibility for on‑call coverage to ensure continuous resident care. The position emphasizes dignity, confidentiality, and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certification or Nursing Assistant Certified (within 120 days of hire).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire).
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• Willing and able to work 12 hour shifts.

Responsabilités

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assists residents with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting.
• Provides medication services, including passing, counting, and documenting distribution.
• Charts in electronic medical record daily and reports changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Coordinates scheduling changes and time off with administrator.
