Job summary

The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapter in Utica, NY is seeking an Agency Driver to transport people we support from home to work sites and back, using safe driving practices and knowledge of the Utica area. You will assist clients into and out of vehicles, follow directions or GPS, drive safely, and comply with NYS driving rules.

Maintain a clean vehicle and complete daily reports. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and a valid, clean Class D license with 3–5 years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid, clean Class D license with 3–5 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist people we support into and out of agency vehicles to ensure safety.
• Follow directions or utilize GPS for navigation.
• Operate vehicles safely and observe NYS driving regulations and agency policies.
• Report all accidents or traffic infractions to the Director of Facilities Management.
• Maintain vehicle interior cleanliness and perform daily attendance and other reports.
