St. Giles Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to guide residents and families through the admissions process with compassion and precision.

You will assess, document, and verify eligibility while coordinating with clinical and administrative teams. You will build strong relationships with residents, families, and referral sources, travel locally for outreach, and present information to community groups.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for serving elderly and disabled individuals.
• Strong organizational and relationship-building abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Commitment to reliability, trustworthiness, and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for residents and families entering the facility.
• Guide residents and families through the admissions process with compassion and professionalism.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and referral sources.
• Complete bedside assessments, review documentation, and clinically accept residents for admission.
• Prepare weekly admissions activity reports and maintain organized records.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support transitions for new residents.
• Represent the facility in community presentations on long-term care and health services.
• Travel locally as needed to support referral development.
• Comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and teamwork in all interactions.
