Job summary

Sturdy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, high quality care across age groups in a fast-paced setting. You will collaborate with physicians, families and the care team, perform assessments, administer medications, and document patient care to support optimal outcomes.

The role requires Massachusetts nursing licensure, BLS, and unit-specific ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications where applicable. New graduates may be considered for certain positions within the system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure in Massachusetts and current BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP as required by unit guidelines.
• New Graduate Nurses accepted for some positions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to patients, families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with care teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Regularly assess and document vital signs and patient status.
• Record medical history and current health information.
• Administer medications per orders and protocols.
• Deliver nursing care and supervise delegated tasks per policy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate actions.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and stay current with practice.
• Carry out Charge Nurse duties as assigned.
