Job summary

The Grove of Northbrook is seeking an Activity Aide to join our compassionate care team in Northbrook, IL. You will help maintain residents' emotional and social wellbeing by providing companionship, encouraging participation in activities, and assisting in scheduling movies, planning parties, and organizing games and crafts.

As part of our caring team, you will accompany residents on activities outside the facility and contribute to delivering a high standard of care, while learning and growing

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a 10th grade education.
• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' emotional and social wellbeing by providing companionship.
• Encourage participation in activities, schedule movies, plan parties, and organize games and crafts.
• Accompany residents on activities outside the facility and ensure quality care and safety.
