The Pavilion at Edgefield in Canton, OH seeks an Activities Assistant to plan, implement and evaluate recreational programs for residents, in line with care plans and facility policies.

The role supports the Activities Director, coordinates calendars, interviews residents, arranges transportation, and promotes well-being through engaging activities. Requires high school diploma and ability to pass background check; part-time, negotiable salary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to successfully pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a monthly calendar of activities.
• Place copies of the monthly calendar in residents' rooms.
• Interview residents or family members to obtain activity preferences.
• Coordinate and assist residents in getting to activity locations.
• Assist with conducting activities to promote resident well-being.
• Document activity program attendance and chart progress notes.
