Job summary

Prisma Health's Blount Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Sitters/Observers team member to provide constant 1:1 observation and ensure patient safety under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with meeting patient needs such as turning, positioning, feeding, ambulation, transfers, and transports, while documenting risks and communicating hand-offs to oncoming staff.

Experience is not required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; CNA or PCT certification

Qualifications

• Education - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience - No previous experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Certification - CNA or PCT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant 1:1 observation and report risks per policy.
• Notify staff and security if patient attempts to leave.
• Assist with turning, positioning, feeding, ambulation, and transfers.
• Document observations and participate in hand-offs.
