CDL Class A Dry Van lanes are available from the Chicago market for serious candidates. 53' van trailers available for rent (2017 or newer), but owned trailers are welcome as long as they pass inspection. Job Summary

Contract Driver (1099, Solo) - Dry Van OTR

• Gross weekly pay: $1,600 - $2,350
• CPM: $0.60 - $0.65
• Average miles per week: 2,500 - 3,500
• Sign-on bonus: $250

Details

• Type: Dedicated, Line Haul
• Driver load/unload: No
• Uniforms required
• Home time: 2-3 days out, with longer options available; home every weekend

Core Responsibilities

• Vehicle, equipment, and cargo inspection for safety and compliance
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits
• Maintaining a driver's log per DOT regulations
• Loading/unloading cargo and operating cargo handling equipment
• Customer interactions and relations
• Availability to meet pickup and delivery schedules
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
