About the Company: I am looking for traditional owner-operators with a CDL Class A license. Dry van lanes are available from the Chicago market for serious candidates. 53' van trailers available for rent (2017 or newer), but owned trailers are welcome as long as they pass our inspection. Job Summary

Contract Driver (1099, Solo) Dry Van OTR

• Gross weekly pay: $1,600 - $2,350
• CPM: $0.60 - $0.65
• Average miles per week: 2,500 - 3,500
• Sign-on bonus: $250

Details

• Type: Dedicated, Line Haul
• Driver Load/Unload: No
• Uniforms required
• Home Time: 2-3 days out, with options to stay out longer; get 2 days home for every 7 days worked; home every weekend

Core Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle, equipment, and cargo for safety, legality, and security
• Submit customer paperwork, invoices, load orders, and reports
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs
• Stack, sort, load, and unload cargo using cargo handling equipment
• Interact with customers and maintain good relations
• Be available to meet pickup and delivery schedules
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Orientation Details

• Paid orientation (does not cover accommodation or travel expenses)
• Drivers need to arrange their own room; breakfast included
• Orientation partly or fully online

Hiring Requirements

• Class A license without restrictions
• At least 2 years of OTR experience
