Job summary

Morgan McKinley is recruiting a Company Accountant for a fast-growing telecommunications company. You will own day-to-day finance, covering AP/AR, reconciliations, VAT returns and financial reporting, with exposure to senior management.

Join a standalone role using Xero, driving accurate records, budgeting support, and month-end processes while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across AP and AR
• Hands-on Xero experience is essential
• Good knowledge of reconciliations and Irish statutory compliance
• Strong analytical and commercial awareness
• Highly organised, accurate and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Manage AP and AR, invoicing, collections and supplier payments
• Complete bank reconciliations and month-end processes
• Prepare VAT, PRSI and other statutory returns
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Monitor revenue, cash flow, KPIs and financial performance
• Analyse and explain variances
• Monitor costs, pricing and gross margins
• Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end audit
• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero

Company Accountant Morgan McKinley are delighted to be workign with a fast-growing specialist telecommunications company who are seeking an experienced Company Accountant to take ownership of its day-to-day finance function. This is a standalone role with direct exposure to senior management, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, compliance and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage AP and AR, including invoicing, collections and supplier payments
