Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities in a rehabilitation environment.
• Possession of a valid California driver's license is required.
• Completion of DOJ criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides social and recreational support to consumers.
• Ensures safe environment and advocacy for consumers.
• Assists consumers with daily living skills training.

Skills

Knowledge of good health practices

Ability to work independently

Good judgement and decision-making skills

Respond proactively in emergency situations

CPR and First aid certified

Education

High school diploma, GED or equivalent
