Job summary

Visiting Angels Athens seeks a compassionate Companion Caregiver to support local seniors with daily tasks and mobility. You will assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and personal care, while providing a safe, respectful presence at home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Compassionate, respectful and patient approach to seniors.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide one-on-one mobility assistance and transportation.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed.
• Support clients with routine exercises and mobility.
• Plan meals with clients and accompany shopping.
• Report any unusual incidents and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to seniors.
