Waste Pro is seeking a Regional Compactor Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on high-activity compactors. The role includes preventive inspections, diagnostics, and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems, with potential travel to customer sites within the region.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED (or 4 years of related maintenance experience) and a valid driver’s license, with preferred certifications in mechanical trades or diagnostics.

Waste Pro is now hiring for a Regional Compactor Maintenance Technician...
SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The compacter repair technician performs repairs and maintenance to compactors to maximize operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Compacter Repair Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on compactors.
  • Performs preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostics and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors.
  • May travel to customer locations within Region to repair containers.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
Required:
  • Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Valid drivers license.
Preferred:
  • Mechanical or trade school certificate
  • Certificate in electronic diagnostics
  • ASE certificate
  • Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience.
