Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Snow and Ice Equipment Operator in Minnesota to safely operate compact equipment including Ventrac tractors, skid steers, and compact tractors to clear snow and apply deicing materials. You will review site plans, maintain safe clearances, and coordinate with shovel crews and truck operators during winter events.

The role requires following site instructions, reporting any changes, and staying available for event schedules with required PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating compact equipment like Ventrac tractors and skid steers.
• Basic mechanical awareness and safe operation of equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork to coordinate with crews.

Responsibilities

• Operate Ventrac tractors, skid steers, compact tractors and apply deicing materials.
• Review site maps, hazard notes, traffic patterns before work begins.
• Maintain safe clearance from pedestrians, vehicles, buildings and other equipment; use a spotter when required.
• Complete detail and cleanup passes and support other crews as directed.
• Follow approved material, snow-stacking, and site-restoration instructions and report changes.
