Job summary

Swanston Equipment in Fargo, ND is hiring a Compact Equipment Service Technician to diagnose and repair Bobcat equipment in a dedicated shop bay. You will participate in cross-department collaboration, training, and hands-on job growth, with weekly pay and benefits. A CDL and field service travel may be involved.

The role requires a solid technician background in hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems, strong troubleshooting, reliability, and a full tool set to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• A solid technician background with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills.
• Solid troubleshooting skills.
• High mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, document and repair Bobcat equipment and attachments.
• Collaborate across departments and dealerships for training and skill growth.
• Work in a shop in your own dedicated bay.
• Be willing to go on service calls and, with a Class A CDL, operate the service truck for onsite support.
