Job summary

TriHealth’s Findlay Community Hub is seeking a Health Fitness Specialist to create a welcoming fitness environment, assist members with equipment and exercise techniques, and promote safe workout practices. You’ll support wellness initiatives, coach clients, and help inspire healthy, inclusive community engagement at 1811 Vine Street in Cincinnati.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health/Fitness or related field.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer application skills.
• 6 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Staff a fitness center in a corporate/commercial and/or community setting.
• Perform fitness assessments and equipment orientations.
• Provide exercise prescriptions.
• Maintain fitness center equipment.
• Assist with managing the group fitness schedule.
• Staff Health Fairs.
• Perform screenings (blood pressure, body composition, finger stick).
• Implement wellness programs and data reporting.
• Present on health/wellness topics.
• Support incentive programs and data reporting.
