Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in science, public administration, business, education, or related environmental field.
• One (1) year’s relevant work experience.
• Or equivalent combinations of education, training, and/or experience which indicates knowledge of program functional area issues and operations.
• Valid Driver's License issued by the state of residency

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships with communities and representatives; attends meetings; develops outreach plans; manages Residential Recycling Incentive, household hazardous waste and tire amnesty programs and other community projects.
• Provides technical support, records, and documentation to communities/businesses; assists in bid specs, grants; reviews program effectiveness and updates district plan; collects data and shares information via webinars, newsletters and toolkits.
• Under general supervision help manage the container loan program; supports staff; assists with events and grants; collaborates with community groups on environmental programs.
• Attends promotional events and fielding inquiries; completes special projects; evaluates program effectiveness and prepares reports; monitors relevant publications and trends.
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. Other duties as assigned.
