Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a role focused on violence prevention and community engagement within the Safe Streets initiative. You will facilitate plan implementation, train staff, and publicize educational messages to reduce shootings and strengthen community safety.

Responsibilities include building vendor relationships, leading meetings, documenting progress, and participating in evaluation activities to advance health equity and community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience in violence prevention/interruption.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate implementation of the strategies identified in the plan with an emphasis on maximum engagement of community residents and existing community services.
• Develop relationships with local service vendors.
• Participate in meetings with Baltimore MONSE staff.
• Train employees for daily tasks.
• Documentation of meetings.
• Lead group to reduce shootings and ensure community follows the violence prevention plan and implement responses to shootings.
• Publicize Safe Streets educational messages.
• Plan and oversee activities.
• Participate in evaluation activities.
