Job summary

Wilson & Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a motivated Planner to join our team. You will support a range of community planning, land use, transportation planning, and public engagement projects across the region.

The Planner will collaborate with planners and engineers to develop plans, conduct data analyses, prepare reports, maps, and presentations, and contribute to proposals and client meetings. A Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of experience are expected, with AICP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning or related field.
• 2-4 years of planning-related experience.
• Experience preparing technical reports, data analyses, graphics, and presentation materials.
• Knowledge of community planning, land use planning, transportation planning, and public engagement practices.

Responsibilities

• Support planning projects from initiation through completion, coordinating tasks with project teams and clients.
• Conduct research, collect and analyze data, and develop planning recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, maps, graphics, and other project deliverables.
• Assist with stakeholder meetings, workshops, public engagement activities, and client presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of planners, engineers, and other professionals.
• Manage assigned project tasks, schedules, and budgets with guidance from senior staff.
• Support proposal development and other business development activities as needed.
