Catholic Charities of Steuben/Livingston is hiring a Transportation Coordinator to support the Faith in Action program by coordinating client rides and volunteer drivers, ensuring timely and safe services.

The role emphasizes compassionate service, confidentiality, and collaboration with staff, volunteers, and community partners to help clients remain independent at home. The position is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a competitive benefits package, including a 403b retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Possession of a valid NYS Driver's license; driving record acceptable by agency/insurance.
• Two years' experience with volunteer-based programs.
• At least two years' experience with youth and families preferred.
• Experience in community relations, nonprofit program coordination, or work with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check/respond to phone requests for client transportation.
• Enter transportation information into transportation calendar.
• Coordinate with the Volunteer Transportation Assistant to schedule transports and drivers.
• Provide transportation for clients using program vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records in computer database.
• Assist Director of Volunteer and Community Outreach with monthly data collection and volunteer management.
• Complete weekly vehicle checks and mileage records.
• Maintain positive relationships with volunteers, clients and community partners.
• Attend agency functions, staff meetings, and mandatory training.
