Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and six months work experience as a driver or equivalent.
• Requires CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications within six months of hire.
• May require valid driver's license with clean driving record and compliance with tribal insurance requirements.
• Fluency in Tohono O'odham Language and English may be required based on department needs.

Responsibilities

• Inspects vehicles daily including tires, gas, oil, water, and levels to ensure safety.
• Performs safety checks on vehicles (brake lights, signals, tires, emergency kits).
• Maintains logs and mileage documentation and completes vehicle reports.
• Transports program clients to and from designated activities safely and efficiently.
• Assists passengers and maintains vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
