Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking an ECSC Therapist to provide community-based psychotherapy, clinical service coordination, psychiatric rehabilitation, and crisis support to adults with serious mental illness. You will use evidence-based, trauma-informed, person-centered approaches and work closely with the treatment team and community providers.

The role requires independent field work across the community, sound clinical judgment, and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field plus at least 1 year of paid relevant experience.
• Professional license preferred but not required; eligible for PA licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate an organization vehicle/van.
• Ability to drive extensively throughout Allegheny County (approx. 100 miles in a day).

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based psychotherapy and crisis support.
• Coordinate clinical services and psychiatric rehabilitation with the treatment team and community providers.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Work independently across the community with sound clinical judgment and flexibility.
