Job summary

Evergreen Life Services Florida seeks a Personal Support Staff to provide direct, person-centered support to individuals in their homes and the community. The role assists with daily living activities, transportation, and community participation while promoting independence, safety, dignity, and quality of life.

When not with individuals, staff may assist with HeavenDROPT production and other operational tasks. Reports To: Director of Operations & Business Development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Non-profit experience and disability experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport individuals between homes, appointments, activities, and community destinations.
• Provide supervision and support during transportation and community activities.
• Monitor needs and safety during transportation and respond to changes or incidents.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care per service plans.
• Support participation in recreational, social, and community activities.
• Promote independence and dignity by encouraging daily routines and choice.
• Complete required service documentation and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Follow individual service plans and Evergreen policies.
• Assist with HeavenDROPT production, packaging, inventory, and operations when not in direct support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional vehicle and work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
