Job summary

Capabilities LLC in Ohio seeks a Community Support Specialist Floater to help clients engage in their community and pursue meaningful life goals. You will support clients at events, parks, and outings, promoting inclusion and independence while maintaining a flexible schedule to cover for other staff.

• Clean driving record and willingness to transport clients in company vehicles.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful day services for clients to engage in their community.
• Help clients participate in activities at events, parks, and outings to promote inclusion.
• Support independence and achieve clients' life goals.
• Cover shifts as needed when other staff are unavailable.

As one of our Community Support Specialist Floaters, you offer support, making inclusion and independence possible for our clients to achieve amazing life goals. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with working a flexible schedule to cover for other staff when they are off.

Typically, the schedule is steady and approximately 7:00 am - 4 pm, Monday – Friday. When covering other areas (Allen, Auglaize, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, or Shelby county), the hours would be longer due to travel.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma/GED or above.
2. Ability to type 25 words per minute and navigate a company-issued laptop.
3. A clean driving record and willingness to transport clients in company vehicles.
4. Ability to pass a background and drug screening (a list of the disqualifying offenses can be provided if needed).
