Job summary

My Life My Home is seeking a Direct Support Professional to passionately support individuals in our CILA homes. You will assist residents with daily activities, personal care, meals, and daily documentation, working to honor each person’s routines and preferences.

Starting pay ranges from $19.05 to $21.05 per hour with potential increases after credentialing. This is a full-time position with shifts including PT evenings and FT midnight, in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• High School diploma or GED required; background check and physical required.
• Must be able to read and comprehend at interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, cooking and assistance with meals, personal hygiene and grooming.
• Clean and maintain the home environment; support each resident’s daily care plan and daily documentation.

The individuals who reside at the CILAs are provided daily supports from a team of dedicated Direct Support Professionals, this may include personal care, cooking and assistance with meals, personal hygiene and grooming, cleaning inside their home, supporting each care plan and daily documentation. • PT evening shift: Tueday and Friday 3pm-9pm e/o weekend
• FT midnight shift: Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed 11pm-9am

Starting base pay $19.05-21.05 an hour

Additional $1.00 increase to base pay after completing medication pass certification.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years or older and have a valid driver's license with less than 3 driving offenses. A High School diploma or GED is required and must provide proof. A criminal background check and physical is required to meet requirements of the position. The background check includes the DCFS/CANTS check for abuse/neglect with children. You must also be able to complete and meet requirement of a reading and comprehension quiz which is completed at the interview.
