Job summary

Columbia Community Mental Health is seeking a Community Support Specialist for the Cornerstone program in St. Helens, OR. The role includes overnight shifts Friday to Monday, totaling 32 hours per week, with hourly pay ranging from $22.86 to $30.47.

Position:Community Support Specialist

Department: Residential - Cornerstone

Shift:Friday - Monday, from 11:00pm to 7:30am (0vernight), totaling 32 hours per week.

Salary Range:$22.86 to $30.47 (hourly). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Summary: Provides direct client services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses and/or addiction issues who reside in the agency residential facilities. To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required: Abilities to teach activities of daily living: housekeeping, cooking, personal hygiene, and personal finance. Must have the knowledge/abilities to model appropriate interpersonal/vocational skills/behaviors. Able to deal effectively with high stress situations, handle unusual human behavior, resolve conflict. Reliable transportation, good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of current automobile insurance.
