Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a Community Support Specialist in Missouri to empower clients and families toward long-term well-being. You will work with children, adolescents, and adults to develop personalized care plans, using evidence-based practices to support recovery and independence.

You will collaborate with families and professionals, coordinate with schools and physicians, and maintain timely client records while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other human services field or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with 2 years related work experience or 4-year combination of education/experience
• AS in Behavioral Health Support also qualifies
• Four years of qualifying experience accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and/or adults, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention implementation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with clients, families, and stakeholders
• Coordinate care with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations
• Maintain accurate records in line with policies
• Participate in staff training and multidisciplinary teamwork
