Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Branson, MO is seeking a Community Support Specialist to help individuals adapt to community living through personalized plans, collaboration with professionals, and evidence-based practices.

You will provide client-centered services with a focus on empowerment, resilience, and skill-building, coordinating care with schools, physicians, and community organizations, and participating in ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related human services field, or
• Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with two years of related work experience, or
• Any four-year combination of higher education and two years of related work experience, or
• An Associate’s of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support fulfills requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based mental health services to individuals including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clients and families.
• Coordinate care with schools, primary care physicians, and community organizations.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress per policies.
• Participate in staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
