Community Support Specialist
Job Description
Plays a crucial role in supporting parents, as needed, in the community throughout the duration of the 2024 bond which is expected to be 2-3 years. Works with the Growth and Decline Liaison and building leaders by supporting DCSD families and community members directly and indirectly impacted by bond initiatives, including the pairing of schools in Highlands Ranch and the opening of new schools in Sterling Ranch and RidgeGate.
For the school pairing process, works with leaders and serves as a district-level contact for families, helping to ensure a maximum amount of support for those impacted, working proactively to address concerns.
Develops and promotes good community relations between district, families, and community members.
Hours will be variable, as needed.

Equipment And Vehicles Used
General office equipment.
Requires travel around District using personal vehicle.
Essential Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting five (5) to ten (10) pounds.
Frequent sitting
Occasional bending, squatting, or standing.
