Job Summary

* This position is primarily telework and will require travel to attend meetings in the office and to program sites across Minnesota. This team is currently teleworking; however, this may change in the future with notice. Upon hire employees will be required to complete a telework agreement.

Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Community Support Services (CSS) Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a CSS Clinical Manager! You will be a part of the CSS Leadership team that collectively work together to oversee the services and needs of the adolescents and adults with extraordinary support needs served by CSS programs. CSS provides state-operated supports to people with complex behavioral health challenges experiencing crisis through both outreach consultation to community support networks and through its eight (8) crisis homes across the state. You will directly supervise the statewide interdisciplinary consultation team of clinical social workers, occupational therapists, speech pathologist, behavior analyst supervisor. In this position, you also will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical processes and tools to promote consistent quality of clinical services across CSS programs.

The primary responsibilities of the CSS Clinical Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide clinical leadership and support across CSS, including 7 mobile teams and 8 treatment homes across the state;
  • Lead clinical integration, innovation, and improvement efforts across CSS;
  • Provide collaborative leadership and management to CSS statewide through the CSS senior management team.

*The CSS Clinical Manager is a statutory unclassified appointment and serves at the will of the appointing authority.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Must hold current Minnesota licensure with one of the following:

  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW),
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC),
  • Licensed Psychologist (LP),
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT),
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligible to become LBA within 6 months of hire
    • Note: BCBA can be hired while pursuing LBA licensure. Must demonstrate progress towards licensure and obtain LBA within 6 months of hire.

AND

  • Four (4) years of post-independent licensure/certification clinical experience
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience including the following:
    • Recommending, administering, and evaluating budget;
    • Experience planning for and managing change processes related to clinical systems, as well as identifying opportunities for development and process improvement; and
    • Providing clinical supervision.

AND

Demonstrated leadership experience: Leadership experience can include:

  • Experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead;
  • Completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g., Emerging Leadership Institute, L4);
  • A paid/unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee (e.g., Employee Resource Group) - experience must include:
  • 1+ year of experience identifying issues, goals, and strategic actions.
  • 100+ hours per year time commitment
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with programs licensed under Minnesota Statute 245D, Home and Community-Based Services standards;
  • Experience leading or working with interdisciplinary services or supports.
