Job summary

Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) is seeking a Community Support Specialist to train individuals in independent living skills and tenancy responsibilities, and to support them in maintaining psychiatric stability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in Human Services or related field.
• Experience with individuals diagnosed with mental illness or substance abuse preferred.
• Proficient writing skills with grasp of basic grammar and spelling.
• Valid NYS driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in pursuing personal life goals.
• Assist with tenancy stability and independent living.
