Job summary

Anchor Behavioral Solutions is seeking a Full-time Community Support Professional Floater to assist adults with developmental and behavioral challenges. The CSP Floater may work in homes or communities and travel to Union, Essex, Middlesex & Bergen counties. A working vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Ability to teach basic daily living skills.
• Ability to provide personal care.
• Ability to practice cultural competency and sensitivity.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals, their families, case managers, and the general public.
• Ability to apply agency policy and procedure while working with individuals.
• Ability to clearly document written accounts of your sessions within the required timeframe.
• Commitment to be sensitive and maintain professional boundaries with families and individuals.
• Commitment to providing a person-centered care approach.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities to reach their individualized goals.
• Support can take place in the individual’s home or in the community.
• Include tasks such as community outings, meal prep, assistance with daily living activities and self-care help.
