Job summary

YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc. is seeking a Sports Coordinator to assist the Senior Program Director in developing and expanding sports programs, connecting more deeply with the Pooler community, and maintaining high quality experiences for members and participants.

The role requires collaboration with staff, volunteers, and the public while upholding the YMCA's values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Regular meetings and team-oriented activities are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate youth sports programs each season.
• Communicate program rules and policies to parents and participants.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff and volunteers.
• Support annual campaign and member satisfaction efforts.
• Uphold the organization’s standards and participate in investigations as required.
