The YMCA in Central Maryland is seeking a Sports Instructor to teach all assigned sports classes under the direction of the Program/Sports Director. You will create learning opportunities for participants from preschool through adult, aligning with our curriculum and mission.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching sports to diverse age groups.
• Ability to follow designated curriculum and adapt as needed.
• Maintain accurate class attendance and progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Teach all assigned sports classes under the Program/Sports Director guidance.
• Prepare teaching area and equipment, store after class.
• Work with individuals and groups to improve skills and confidence.
• Keep attendance records and ensure curriculum standards are met.
