Job summary

Sequoia Equities is seeking a Community Specialist to lead operations and administrative functions across a multi-property portfolio in the Pacific Northwest, primarily serving the Portland/Vancouver area. The role emphasizes leadership in bookkeeping, budgeting, and cross-site coordination.

The ideal candidate embraces challenge, maintains a positive attitude, and can travel to properties as needed to support daily operations and team success.

Qualifications

  • Excellent people skills and resilience under changing conditions.
  • Prior management, assistant management, and/or budgeting experience in real estate, hospitality, retail, or related field.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to travel to properties in the Portland/Vancouver area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community operations and administrative tasks.
  • Oversee bookkeeping and budgeting related to the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with property teams across multiple sites in the Pacific Northwest.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $24 - $29 / hour plus generous leasing and quarterly bonuses.
