Job summary

ChildServe is hiring a Community Services Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of Community Services, including Respite and Supported Community Living. The role ensures a therapeutic, safe environment for children, families and staff while maintaining quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

The position requires at least one year of supervisory experience and a preferred Bachelor’s degree, with flexibility for scheduling, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of related experience considered.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
• Experience in Respite and SCL services preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Current Iowa Driver's license; chauffeur license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of Community Services, including Respite and Supported Community Living programs.
• Oversee intake, admissions, scheduling, recertifications, and family service agreements.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans with quality documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Lead workforce management: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and supervising direct care staff.
• Drive service excellence through coaching, performance management, and ensuring billing accuracy and a positive environment.
