Job summary

The John Stewart Company is seeking a Services Coordinator to develop and provide supportive services at the property. The role partners with the Property Manager to assess and address the service needs of residents and the community, supporting activities and outreach.

Responsibilities include coordinating with social and health agencies, planning youth programs, fostering community relations, and maintaining resident resources and communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and professional certification is preferred.
• Two years or experience in supportive service area preferred.
• Experience with low-income families, children, youth, seniors and disabled population preferred.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual population.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison with outside social and health agencies.
• Plan and conduct after-school programs for resident youth.
• Establish and work with residents’ group to facilitate positive community relations.
• Advise Property Manager on service and recreation needs of the residential community.
• Coordinate resident communications and outreach efforts, including informational materials and announcements.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and service providers.
