Description

Job Overview: The Community Service Officer is responsible for monitoring adherence to the Poinciana Covenants and responds to requests for assistance within the area. On the property of the Homeowners Association of Poinciana Villages, the officer operates a marked property vehicle and monitors compliance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and enforcing the Poinciana Subdivision Declaration, Design Control Board Criteria, and Master Signage Criteria.
• Conduct yourself professionally at all times while on duty, including appearance, speech, manners, and actions.
• Check vehicles and equipment at the beginning of each shift, report deficiencies, and report items needing supervisory attention.
• Perform all Community Service Officer duties in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies of the A.P.V.
• Submit clear, concise reports as required.
• Operate the vehicle in compliance with Florida Motor Vehicle Laws at all times.
• Observe all applicable Federal, State, and County laws.
• Perform additional duties as required by department, company, or community needs.
• Monitor construction sites for adherence to criteria.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Florida Class “E” Driver License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to speak and understand English sufficiently to communicate over radio and complete reports.
• Strong communication and public relations skills.
• Ability to type accurately at 20 WPM.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, 40 hours/week.
